In this bonus session filmed alongside our coaching course with Brentford B assistant coach Sam Saunders, head of athletic performance James Purdue takes the squad through a series of exercises designed to ready the players for a high-intensity session featuring lots of long-distance sprinting.
The warm-up starts with a series of dynamic movements and stretches, before moving on to resistance band work in pairs and a technical passing and receiving drill using mannequins. It ends with every player making five straight-line sprints.
