In this session filmed exclusively for CV Academy, Cam Brooks of Pro Sports Academy – a leading private football-coaching provider based in southeast England – works with a Chelsea Under-13 central midfielder to develop the player’s ability to play with disguise.

The session begins with a passing pattern that gives the player the opportunity to pass, receive and dribble, using different techniques and disguise. Brooks then works through progressions that incorporate the session themes, as well as making multiple decision-making demands that replicate playing in central midfield.

It’s a technical session with patterns of play that require game-relevant levels of focus, while encouraging incisive creativity of the kind so important to a central midfielder. We hope you enjoy it!
