Using the Coaches’ Voice tactics board, he provides expert guidance through the ins and outs of a shape used to Champions League-winning effect by Carlo Ancelotti, and by Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City in the 2025/26 Premier League season.

Omogbehin – who has helped to develop scores of professional footballers, including Wilfried Zaha, Djed Spence and Emile Smith Rowe – begins with a consideration of the Christmas tree formation’s influence on football and his own coaching. He then explains the system set-up, passing patterns, principles, rotations, advantages, and adaptation to out-of-possession scenarios.

It is a fascinating session delivered with precision by a coach who has more than 20 years’ experience at Crystal Palace and now Fulham. He has also been responsible for his own outstanding grassroots club, Junior Elite FC, which has produced players for all four of England’s top divisions.
