The brothers achieved three promotions in eight seasons with Concord Rangers, before a three-year spell at Lincoln City featured two further promotions – from the National League to League One – as well as an FA Cup quarter final and victory in the 2018 EFL Trophy. They most recently steered Huddersfield Town to safety in the Championship, in a season heavily affected by the coronavirus pandemic.

In a fascinating hour-long session, Danny & Nicky introduced their coaching philosophy and game model. From this, they picked out four of their central concepts, showing best-practice examples, practices to develop their team’s ability in these specific areas and, finally, footage of these concepts being played out in game situations. They also answered a number of audience questions before finally giving an insight into their approach to off-field coaching with the individual.
