We are delighted to present on-demand footage of our exclusive live webinar with Red Bull Salzburg head coach Jesse Marsch.
Marsch spent 14 years as a player in Major League Soccer, winning three consecutive MLS Cups with DC United and Chicago Fire, before embarking upon a coaching career as an assistant to Bob Bradley with the US men’s national team. He became head coach of the New York Red Bulls in 2015 and has remained in the Red Bull family since, spending a season as assistant to Ralf Rangnick at RB Leipzig before assuming his current position with Red Bull Salzburg in the summer of 2019. In his first season, he led the club to an Austrian league and cup double, and caught the attention of many with his team’s impressive displays against Liverpool in the Champions League.
In this brilliant hour-long session, Marsch goes into fascinating detail about some of the principles that underpin his tactical approach, focusing on the high and intense press that all disciples of Rangnick are known for. He also discusses the philosophy that he looks to instil in all of his players, both as individuals and as footballers, before an engaging Q&A in which he answers a range of questions posed by the live audience.
We hope you enjoy it as much as we did!
