Hosted by Georgie Bingham, the webinar featured guest speakers Hugo Scheckter, former head of player care at West Ham United and the founder and managing director of the Player Care Group, and Dr Michele Di Mascio, head of player care at Sunderland’s Category 1 Academy.

In a really interesting hour-long session, the pair introduced the idea of player care, gave a detailed explanation of the different areas it can cover – both at first-team and academy level – and discussed the different ways it can be incorporated into the other key functions at any club.
