Dean Austin delivers a grassroots-focused session in which he takes a group of four players and a goalkeeper through a series of unopposed practices that will develop players’ technical skills in passing, movement, receiving, dribbling and finishing. The dimensions used in the practices minimise the physical contact between players, meaning the session is appropriate for use under social-distancing guidelines.

The session begins with a technical warm-up in which two pairs of players exchange passes through gates marked out by cones. Austin then takes players through two practices: the first progresses from a passing and dribbling sequence to include a finish; the second progresses from a triangular passing sequence to include a finish.
