Juan Carlos Unzué shows you how the role and tactics of the goalkeeper has changed over the last three decades.
The Spaniard played under Johan Cruyff while he was at Barcelona for two years between 1988 and 1990. He would then go onto make more than 220 league appearances for Sevilla in a seven-year period.
Unzué was on the coaching team when Pep Guardiola was manager of Barcelona, as the Catalan built one of the best club sides football has ever seen. A couple of years later, when Luis Enrique took charge of Barca, Unzué was promoted to become his assistant.
Unzué draws on the experience of playing under Johan Cruyff and working alongside Guardiola and Enrique as he shows you how the goalkeeper role has become more involved with the outfield play.
