Former Bristol City and Sunderland manager Lee Johnson was named as Hibernian manager in May 2022. In this exclusive session, his third for CV Academy, Johnson works on a team’s ability to increase the quality of their chances coming from crosses.

The session is split into two practices. The first, led by Johnson’s assistant Jamie McAllister, uses unopposed patterns of play and reference points marked out on the pitch to encourage players to cross from specific areas. The second progresses into a competitive, tactically themed phase of play to further develop the same principles.
