In this session filmed exclusively for CV Academy, Rosanna Frith-Salem of London-based grassroots organisation Bloomsbury Football focuses on basic technical skills, such as first touch and dribbling, for a group of mixed-ability players.

Frith-Salem begins the session with a catch-and-control warm-up game. The group is then split into two, with Frith-Salem leading one group in a technical passing and receiving practice that focuses on core skills. In the other practice, assistant coach Biraj Paul leads a 1v1 and 2v2 attacking and defending wave game, in which the players compete to score a goal. The session ends with Frith-Salem delivering and receiving feedback from the group.
