In this coaching course filmed exclusively for CV Academy, Chris Moore takes a group of youth development phase players through a series of practices designed to develop their ability to create chances through attacking midfielders.

The session, which Moore takes alongside fellow youth development phase coach Jordan Moore, starts with a directional transition game that acts as warm-up and introduces the theme of playing through midfield. This is followed by a themed possession practice with a focus on passing through tight areas, and an end-zone possession game in which teams look to create gaps in the opposition structure. The final practice is a small-sided game in which teams are encouraged to employ the techniques coached through the session.
